Songs from the Stringband reunion (tracks 43-46) were recorded by CBC Vancouver for Stewart McLean's Vinyl Cafe. Gary Heald was the engineer. What would we do without CBC Radio? Ben Mink mixed "Omaha" and "Munster Medley".

Barbara Ebbeson kept track of all the names.

Ingrid Witvoet proferred editorial assistance. So did Marie-Lynn, who wishes it known that, "I now work professionally as a writer, copy-editor, and proofreader, but Bob refused to follow established editorial conventions in regards to font types for song titles and album titles. Some things never change."

Without Richard Hess' expertise, enthusiasm, and diligence this album would still be an idle wish.

This collection has taken the shape it has because of the generosity of Robert and Birgit Bateman; Marcia and Jim Beckner; Merrill, Kari, and Amanda Falk; Ted Johnson and Sharon Vance; Richard Pollay and Carole Christopher; Steve Webster and Gigi Mandy; Walter Levitt, Jan Micklethwaite, Chris Mills, Laurie Postans, Nell Postans, Donald Short, J. Murray Wood, and, that perennial transport of delight, the ACME Delivery Co. Thanks also to Ken Wyman for his valuable counsel on fundraising.

Over the years Stringband was blessed with the friendship and counsel of, among others, Peter Froehlich, Joe Medjuck, Gary Cristall, Sarah Weber, Doug Bowes, Lisa Henderson, Judy Harper, Pumpkin Sparshott, Richard Flohil, Bonnie Eaton, Marcia Bossin, and Mary Jo Fulmer.

Gary Cristall thanks Bob, Marie-Lynn, Jerry, Ben, Terry, Calvin, Nanci, and Richard Flohil for sharing their recollections.

Pete Seeger called Bob "funny, informative and inspiring at the same time."
